3 months old

Here are some new pictures of Harrison. He was three months old yesterday and is turning into quite the little man. He's finally kind of on a schedule (I wouldn't have believed you if you would've told me a month ago that we'd get to this point) and slept from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. last night! I can handle that. Enjoy the pictures.
He's starting to sit up pretty well and likes looking around at everything.
Harrison heard that the quarterback was going to Ohio State instead so he was mad.
Talking to his new friend the cardinal on his playmat - he loves that thing these days!
Enjoying his new favorite, his fists.
Playing with Dad on the playmat. Dad does good voices!

Harrison at one month, then two and three- look how much he's changed already!

4th of July

Hello from the Jansens! We were in Iowa for the 4th of July and got some good pictures of the little man to share. Harrison was 10 weeks old when these were taken. We were able to get all the grandparents and all 8 great-grandparents together for a picture, even Grandpa Ron :)

2 months old and Ozarks vacation

Harrison turned 2 months old last Friday, June 27th. He was 12 lbs, 1 oz and 23 inches long at his 2 month dr. appointment on
Monday. He's growing well and getting chubby!

He's really smiling a lot now so we really enjoy that. Harrison has also discovered he likes looking at and eating his fist, which creates a fair amount of drool! You can tell that his eyesight is improving, because he's very interested in looking around, especially out the window at the sky.

We were in the Ozarks with my (Erin) parents and Amber and Jason last week. Harrison handled the drive like a pro and actually didn't make it too tough on Mom and Dad. He looked pretty cute in his swim trunks but will have to wait until next year to jump in the lake.

We're headed to Sully tomorrow for the 4th so that will be fun. Lots of time with friends and family.

11 lbs, 4 oz and eating issues!

Harrison will be two months old next Friday, 6/27. He was 11 lbs 4 oz at the dr. yesterday. This has been his second visit in less than a week (yes, I have become one of those parents). We've been having some issues for the last couple of weeks now with possibly acid reflux, maybe a milk intolerance, who knows. We're giving him Prevacid now and are praying hard that it will take care of things and we'll get our happy little man back.

Starting to smile a little bit! Once we get these eating issues resolved (please pray he gets better soon, for Mom and Dad's sake!) hopefully he'll start to smile even more than he already is.

He's definitely more aware of what's going on
around him and loves to look out the window these days.

Harrison now will roll over onto his back from his tummy.
Okay, so it might be more of a flop over, but still!

With all of his reflux, etc. issues lately we've been seeing a lot of this face, unfortunately.

Harrison's friends came over to visit
L to R, Harrison, Jackson and Stella Wondercheck (6 mo)and Delaney McCullough (4 mo)

1 month and then some...

Our little guy keeps getting older and bigger. Yesterday was the 5 week birthday. Won't be long before he's looking for his own Mercury Cougar. (Kidding)

We took Harrison back to Sully for the first time this weekend. I took off Friday afternoon and Monday to give the grandparents some extra time with Harrison. He traveled very well back to Sully on Friday. We had to stop once to grab a quick meal, and then we kept going. We'll see how he handles the trip back here in a few hours. Harrison got a lot of nice additions to the wardrobe and to the reading library. He also got acquinted with lots more family members which he enjoyed thoroughly. Slept through a good portion of most of it, but we'll say he had a good time.

While we were home, we grabbed some old baby pictures of ourselves to compare to Harrison. I've posted these for everyone to check out. General consensus is that he looks like both of us. See what you all think. I've also posted some pictures we were able to take this weekend. Hope you enjoy them. Anyways, hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. Congratulations to Jason and Jennifer on their marriage and everything. Hopefully they're enjoying their honeymoon in Hawaii. See you all around the 4th of July!
